We had such a great time! How spoiled we got with the beach right outside our door. Taking a shower in the outside bathroom and listening to the sound of the ocean was my 5 minute escape from 3 kids. The hot tub was a big hit. We couldn't swim a few days thanks to upcoming Earl and a bout of swimmers ear. We can't wait for next year. Thanks Butch and Gloria!!!

We stayed here the week of 6/14/2010 through 6/20/2010 with our two boys, their friend and our two dogs. We really enjoyed our stay and always had something to do. Although, my husband and myself didn't want to do anything. The weather was great and at night we could open the windows and fall aspleep to the cool ocean breezes. It doesnt get much better than that. This house is setup for the perfect beach vacation such as the ocean front hot tub, two outdoor showers, gate for the dogs, new kitchen. This list goes on and on, but there is more to this house than I have ever seen in any rental since we have been coming to the outer banks. This is definetly the place to stay!

I can't tell you how awesome this place is. Directly on the beach, the upstairs bedroom had this alluring and soothing breeze when the windows were open, I only wish I were the owner of this beach house. I was lucky enough to rent it for about four days on Spring break and would love to return for a lot longer. I have no complaints, just that I need to make more money so I can be there more. Its all to evident that he has put a lot of time and hard work into Lillian B.

We stayed over New Year's and couldn't have asked for a better way to welcome 2010! This is a wonderful home, the kids loved having access to the computer and the fact that there was a tv in practically every room. The window seats in the loft were a special treat...especially since it was very cold when we were there and they provided a cozy place to watch the ocean. Nothing compares to literally having the ocean waves crashing right outside your back door. It was absolutely wonderful and we would love to stay again.

Fireworks the first night...An unexpected treat then the cops came&the culprets fled the beach! next few day..sand, suf & fun parasailing, gradens and horses on the run! watching children & adults.. an hysterical sight yelling & screaming chasing ghost crabs all night! dolphins, presents, making shell windchimes washing sand out of our shorts... we had a great time most of the week was sunny & warm "DANNY" was downsized to a tropical storm. birthday cake, presents, making shell crowns Jillian's the princess, marjorie wore it around town. mom, tonja, phill & angelina, phillip & jillian what could be sweeter debra & patrick dont forget marjorie even the dogs ringo & rocky. it was needed... burying our stress in the sand getting away from lifes hard demands tossing our cared out to sea we have to thank god.. and "Lillian B"

I would suggest the Lilian B to anyone. It is so cute, cozy and comfortable and right on the beach!! It was so nice at night with the windows open listening to the waves and the hotub was awesome. We had a wonderful girls weekend and will definitely try to rent the Lilian B again. Thank you to the owners for providing us with such a wonderful vacation.

Very enjoyable trip. Great house, can't wait to come back again. We dubbed the 3rd bathroom the "man cave" and it was a hit! Butch is a great landowner, very attentive, and the wireless internet got up and running during our stay. Weather was good; Monday was rainy but the rest of the days were wonderful beach days. Having the beach right outside our door was a plus. The back deck with porch swing, chairs and hot tub were wonderful. We don't want to leave!

My two sons, their wives, my three year old grandson, and I regretfully left Lillianb-a perfect size for our family! Plenty of room in the combo kitchen-living area, but most of the time was spent on the beach or the awesome porch! We could be outside, feeling and seeing the ocean without roasting any of us. But there is nothing better than sitting in a chair with your feet in the ocean plus many sand castles! No need to leave the house-except for food; however lots of good food, shopping, sight seeing, etc. are close.
